In therapy, I was left to believe that what I am lacking is self esteem. But after reading about self esteem is, I actually realized what I am missing is self-love and self-compassion. These are a bit harder to attain, unlike self esteem, which is basically accomplishment-driven.
So if anyone here managed to learn how to love and accept themselves with their flaws and mistakes, and if you've learned to be compassionate to yourself, please share how you got there. Your help would be much appreciated! Thank you!!
