For the same reasons the person asking thought it might be out of line. Because it is out of line to suggest on zero evidence that an autistic person you don't know has been stringing people along on a fabricated thread for 2 years, and that they are really the person with potentially dangerous attitudes toward women that they are talking about.

Well he keeps getting worse and worse, especially the last two weeks, so I am wondering if there is anything different we can do.

Can you describe his behaviour changes and what sorts of interactions he is having outside the home? Is anyone monitoring his Internet use?
