Have you ever had this question pop in your head? Had you ever made a list and follow through with it?
I just wonder how many people out there REALLY examined their authentic selves and were able to experience a life based on their own choices...
Yes. Finally, at the ripe old age of 56 I do know what I want from life and I pretty much have it.
I have a loving relationship, I'm retired and don't have to work, I have a comfortable house with a large, private yard, quite a few animals, financially secure, a reliable car, an active and healthy lifestyle, AND an amazing sailboat that my husband and I have wonderful adventures on.

Yes, I always knew I wanted to do certain things that did not jibe with a corporate, traditional life. They are all behind me now, so in that sense, I have no regrets. But, OTOH, those choices did not lend themselves to a traditional retirement either, so I am living with the result of those choices.
Now, I don't know what I want to do that jibe with what I can realistically do. Like travel....not sure if it's feasible at this point....
No to the question in the title. I have enjoyed experiences that I DREADED beforehand, figuring I would hate those experiences. Sometimes I have to force myself to try new things.
Have you ever tried to make a list of it?
I'm wondering if such list would be helpful to fulfill all our "wants"?
I have a list of some specific things, yes.
But, I think a list could be self-defeating. Ignoring organic experiences while chasing a list.
