Jonesg, you may have a point there. I haven't read the full topic but I'd be surprised if that hasn't been suggested. At bare minimum (and probably with bare behind) the OP should have his prostate checked out by his physician, to rule out prostate problems as a possible cause. This is especially warranted considering the OP's age which is at the age where men begin to encounter prostate problems, but also due to the seriousness of such problems if in fact they exist. Prostate cancer is of course extremely serious.
I would also run a PSA test in the next blood panel, and in fact "now" is always the best time I like to get my panel run, and PSA is one of the tests I always require. Yes I know routine PSA tests have become somewhat controversial, the idea being that they may lead to increased unnecessary surgery (more likely increased medical costs for insurers). Myself, I have a punch list of several additional tests I always have run that I've customized for my own medical history, the tests I want to keep track of old problems to assure myself they haven't come back.
Outside of that, I've suffered symptoms similar to the OP myself, and in my case I think it's just the idea of not wanting to perform bodily functions in public. I'm not afraid some other man will see my "pee pee"
but just that I'm a private person and prefer to keep my privacy. But of course there is always the aspect of feeling hurried if somebody else is waiting, or even the concern that I may be alone but maybe somebody will walk in and then I'll feel hurried. -- I just opt out and go for the toilet stall. Problem solved.
