I've suffered that too. Usually it's not practical to change jobs, and more likely than not your nasty "pick one" will last longer than your time at the employer.

The only solution is to minimize interaction, shrug off the negative interaction, or as trite as it sounds, deal with it.

Just remember that employer hell does not last forever. It just seems like forever.

I don't think they are funny. I think they are pathetic.
I agree Lovehound. They are pathetic people looking for someone to take their aggression out on. I simply just don't deal with mean spirited people.

Exactly. People who are rude, negative, and who put me down a lot are not people who make my life better so I avoid them. And if I have to be around them, I try not to have any conversation with them.

I'm not saying to hold grudges. I just mean that I have found it's healthy to have as little as possible to do with people like that. Let them get bored & go bother someone else.

This happens n foreign countries school systems. I ran into this with a foreign exchange student who was a superb artist. However she tearfully told me that her teacher told her she would never be any good and she should just kill herself. Her parents would not interfere with the teacher out of, in my opinion misplace, respect. She went on to become a great artist. Teachers have ultimate power in some countries. Just the way it it unfortunately.
