I could share, some bad seeds that grew up around me, one clan, all related, were mostly all locked up, one or two parents had a serious vice, everyone believed in the art of getting over, there were a few that were complete opposite, and excelled in being better people, but the bug is still their in the genes. everyone took pride in being the bad boys.
I honestly think it can go both ways.......just to give two examples:
"John" is my daughter's father. The short version is that his own father was never really around/involved in his life, and his mother had three children by three different men. "John" has gone on to copy his parents with this - he's had kids by several different women, and at least two of those kids, he's never really been a father to.
"Robert" is my sister's husband. His dad was your typical deadbeat, absentee father, and his mother was/is a mentally troubled drug addict. "Robert" is like neither of his parents......he's a good dad to his three kids, has never used drugs, and has accomplished quite a bit in life. (last I heard, he was running for a government position in the state their family lives in)
Bad seed? I believe in birth defects and sometimes a child is born with defective wiring in their brain.
Bad behavior can be learned. Criminal families can teach their children to commit crimes. Sort of the family business. But good families can have children born with faulty wiring in their brain and those children can exhibit unfortunate behavior.
I wonder if you can give a child up if you can't handle them? What age can you give them up for adoption?
