I think this whole thing is ridiculous. Women can't be "empowerful and liberated" on the one hand and helpless little girls on the other; you can't have it both ways. If you're over 18, you can say no. If a man persists, you can call the police. Clearly, in certain situations, it's a quid pro quo; one hand washes the other (and thus it always has been in Hollywood)...
As for regular people, what are we calling "assault" these days... Flirting? Coming on to? Pursuing? Acting like a man?
Please (and I'm a woman).
Is there a vomit emoticon?
I dont know whats more revolting, the blatant and proud ignorance or the alienated oppessed that thinks she is cool act
BTW, what exactly do you mean by "acting like a man?"
In all of nature, the male is the natural sexual aggressor; it's the female's prerogative to accept or reject advances. If bodily forced, call the police. End of story.
The vast majority of sexual assaults/rapes go unreported. Why do you think that is?

Well, it's the male's responsibility to accept the female's rejection of his advances. And when he doesn't and advances it beyond her permission, we call it sexual assault and/ or rape.
So, I guess that sums up who the responsible party is and it is not the victim.
Another example of responsibility was my coworker got drunk and fooled around with a married man in her car. The wife found out and my coworker said she was drunk and that is why it happened. Well she needs to take responsibility that she drank that much to let it happen.
Two entirely different issues. She shares responsibility here (assuming that she didn't force him into the car and "fool" around with him)
OP, she may be stupid for getting drunk, but responsibility is all on him
What would bear some of the responsibility look like? I mean, if you get raped, you will bear that responsibility for life, so I think that would be enough.

People have a right to not be assaulted and raped. People make bad choices that make them vulnerable, but taking advantage of that vulnerability is morally screwed up beyond recognition.
