No, never. I don't understood the point of doing so. It seems like people who do so (I'm speaking of intentional acts) are desperately unhappy IRL or have psychological issues.

Troll as in try to disrupt peaceful discussions or start fights? No. However, if I see the same person or people being consistently cruel or willfully ignorant, and I see an opportunity to get under their skin a little or make them look silly, I'll probably take it.

The difficulty of pinning down a definition means that these discussions will always go round and round ad nauseam. At the extreme, the definition isn't too difficult: Trolling is posting to upset people and cause flame wars wherein the on-topic content of the post is either absent or secondary to the viciousness and insults.

But the less extreme the trolling, the more difficult it is to decide whether it's trolling or not! So yes, for some over-sensitive, over-reactive folks, trolling is any post which gets under their skin, and that could mean an opinion they don't like.

I was recently banned from a thread on another website and I don’t feel like I said anything wrong at all. lol So I don’t get it. I’m not sure if the other person who actually started the argument got banned too.

I try not to, I'm unsure what trolling is though..

If it means being a jerk... well no..

People online can become real friends..
Why would you **** off friends?

See I would have answered this question, "No, absolutely NOT!" until you said this. I admit, I did mess with guys on OK Cupid who did not take a polite "no" for an answer. Trolling them was fun, and they deserved it.

No, I give my opinion based on my experience.

When I respond in the same threads about the same issues that doesnt make me a troll just because you don't like my post.
