Yeah, I'm planning to move to the suburbs of buffalo or Rochester. I think it will be a better fit for me in NY. They seem to have a more Midwest feel. People here seem kind of hard.

NYC is a place I visit occasionally and, when I do, can't wait to get home.

My brother moved from Chicago to Phoenix 5 years ago and loves it there! He said he'll never move back to Chicago!

For me, any place with a beach, good surf, good food, not too much humidity, mild year round weather, will always feel like home.

I've been in Oklahoma for 5 years and it will NEVER feel like home. I detest this state. But I do try to make the best of it. Still, I'm a fish out of water here.

I have been here for 14 years and I hate it!! It has never felt like home to me. I don't watch the local news or read the local paper, unless it is about the weather to see how big of a storm we may get. Even the food has been...Eh for me. I am honestly only here for my job, which has been honestly, the most positive thing I have going on here. I definitely miss Ohio. The people, the food, college football season, Cedar Point in the summer...ughhh I could be out here 20 more years and still not call this place home

I moved to FL for 5 years and it never felt like home. Lost my job, rather than taking another one there, I decided to move back to TX.

I grew up in Northern VA and that felt like home.

Moved to Cincinnati, OH, for 3 years, that never felt like home.
Moved to Des Moines, IA for 8 years, that never felt like home.
Moved to Olympia, WA, and while it was super cool and I enjoyed it, I was there 4 years and it never felt like home.

Then came to Colorado Springs, CO. For a time it did not feel like home, until I found a good fit in terms of social groups and made a bunch of friends, and now it feels more like home than anywhere ever did and I never want to leave.
