Also, the ocean - really any body of water, but mostly the ocean/beach. Good thing I live in California!
And taking my dog to the beach is a double whammy:
I forgot oceans. I love the Ocean and miss it. However waterfalls are as good or better. Great lakes come close, and for swimming they are better (except when Dolphins swim with you in the ocean - the the ocean is better).

Oh man. I can put myself in a relaxed and pleasant mood, if I just focus on imagining the sound of the ocean and the smell of the salt breeze.
It's been some years since I visited a proper ocean beach and I miss it. A lot.
What are some things that automatically lift your spirits right away when you are depressed, down or just struggling with something?
For me it's music or dance. I love dancing and even dance in my apartment alone. For music it's latin music, specifically salsa, regaton, or samba. I just become happy and start moving to the music. When I am dancing somewhere, I completely forget my worries.
Has to be my beautiful daughter. She is so full of life and joy that she lifts everyone up when she walks in the room.
Yep, cats are just the very best mood elevators ever. Mine keep me laughing constantly, always doing something funny.
And kittens! Since it's better for the environment these days to spay our kitties I no longer have a periodic handy supply. So I go down to the pet shelter and ask if they have any kittens they want to socialize. Such fun for both of us!
Pink shoes, dressing up for concerts, buying new music books, brownies with chocolate frosting (mentioned by a previous poster), teaching violin/viola/piano, wine with pasta (especially a peppery red), fresh flowers, kitty head bumps, yoga, swimming, airplane rides to beach communities, talking to old friends/teachers, hugs from loved ones.
When I start feeling sorry for myself (WHY????), I try to focus on what I've enjoyed, experienced, how free I am, and how lucky I am.
