Is it:
"Do men like porn more than women do?"
or is it:
"Do men like porn more than they like women?"

Well, if porn is any indication, a title on a video clip and a few cringey lines of dialogue are PLENTY to establish that it's a "forbidden" scenario.

Like yeah. She is totally that young woman's Stepmother. I'm for real buying that. But hey it's good enough for some folks.

As for 50 Shades...*sigh*...it's painfully difficult for me to even talk about, and not in a fun way. But that is mostly because I'm involved in the real thing, and the actual community, and at least my experience of it has been beautiful, I'm surrounded by lovely souls with a proper sense of fun, excellent ethics, healthy relationships. Everything I've heard about 50 Shades is so bad I refuse to watch or read it, even my Mom said she saw the movie and found it "boring" and said that she was pretty sure my sex life or even hers is far more interesting. I've decided not to waste my time.

But honestly the IDEA of power gets me sexually tweaked more than explicit pornographic content ever will. I mean, really, my first experience of this was the movie Labyrinth, when I was a kid. I didn't know what it was that was getting me going then, though I've figured it out since. It wasn't Bowie's tights. It was the power play implied throughout the whole film. And for crying out loud, the man has a fancy riding crop, like that's not a hint? The scene where he stalks her around the ballroom is RIFE with sexual tension.

I guess for me it's like...every human, and well, every mammal, has the equipment. Watching the hydraulics function is boring, anyone can do that. And frankly some of the most enjoyable acts I've experienced aren't easy to film, I mean, how many times have I seen a supposed lesbian scene that due to camera angles, all that's happening is one lady sorta sticking her tongue out in the general direction, like really? That would feel like nothing. My criticism of explicit video, I just can't shut it down enough to enjoy it. But if you set up some context and leave the rest to my imagination? Oh, yeah, I'm there for that.

Looking for love in all the wrong places?

Just jesting but like I said of the Playboy magazine pictorial of "de Sade" (with "Dave Bowman" Keir Dullea no less!).........corrupting the mind of a very young impressable child.

Whips and chains don't excite me like they once did.....maybe I've used too much of pain as a motivator, like the burn in the thighs to make me climb one more hill on my bike. I can, do seek out cayenne as a stimulant but then again, while tempting I suppose, I'm not going to do an "Aja" on someone.....even though the late actress is a motivator to me (but I say the name as "Ah-JAh")

What does excite me, then, now? Being hit on, someone who takes an intimate interest in me.......but probably not knowing what they are getting into because I will suck their life away in the embrace.

While I refer to "The Story of O" a lot, it is probably not a blue print for what I would go after. So is there a particular movie? Sure..........Underworld, being Selene, being a Vampirelle. Being so powerful, so indestrucible, so sexy.

When I used pain as a motivator back when I was an exerholic, I ran myself with the goal of producing a body that no man would refuse me. As Selene, no man would control me.

BUT.....is there an adult movie or star to surrender to or to be that someone to surrender to? Sure, Sharon Kane to be Saber to surrender to. Interestingly enough, though, there is that item about pain again.

But then again, that is the interesting thing about fantasies in that in fantasy, we are able to forever to return to the starting point, the excitement of the first time is something we can do forever and ever.....that does not exist in reality even though there are many who try to achieve that......such as meth users.

Is there a male in that question? Well, one person it wouldn't be would be Peter North for he as always struck me as very one dimensional, a smile with no substance behind it. How I see the actors isn't a factor about sex but rather if they would be fun to be with, such as "The Story of O" where I previously commented of how handsome some of the French men are in that flick. Or the late Jon Dough who looked incredible in a business suit. Jerry Butler I saw as the high school football team quarterback while Tom Byron and Joey Silvera are hang out with boy toys. And you know, Randy West does have an impressive chest to hang off of.

MIND YOU, of course, I'm talking from a late Cold War view of things, not as they are now.

As I said before, it's the point of view.

Hey, Underworld! In fact, the sex scenes in that movie are very hot, but that also illustrates the kind of sexy video that might appeal to women more than men, it's very SENSUAL. These two aesthetically beautiful bodies moving with passion, rather than squishy sounds and body part close-ups, pokey-pokey-bouncy-bouncy. I think that first sex scene in the Underworld series was when they were on the run, like in an abandoned warehouse or barn or something, and they splashed paint on the windows, remember that? It's also worth mention, as a teenager of the 1990s and a goth besides at that time, the vampire films I loved back then were ALL about sex and seduction. Lost Boys. Interview. Gary Oldman as Dracula. That was good stuff.

What's more boring to me than porn? Twilight.

Oh, and with regards to the whips & chains, it's not even about sex at all for some of us. I like that it is for my partner, and I enjoy his responses, but for me personally it's a means to get high. I'm manipulating my brain chemistry, deliberately, for a few effects. Your standard endorphine "runner's high" effect is there. Also the cortisol spike trauma bonding which makes me feel more connected to my partner, followed by the good ol' oxytocin during aftercare. And all of this makes us more in tune with one another's nonverbal cues and response patterns, which enhances our ability to relate with empathy to one another, and our skills in bed. Also, the events are a safe and respectful place to be an exhibitionist without horrifying society or getting arrested. So there's that.

People get different things out of it. Which is another reason that a lot of the media content out there is a bit annoying, I don't think I've ever encountered any that really conveyed all that there is to the whole thing. Not sure if that is possible or if anyone would want to watch it if it were.

What do you mean by forbidden? A lot of people fantasize about garden variety situations (the hot pizza delivery, the hot bartender, etc.) It's a rich tapestry, and not always (or even ever) about taboo events.

LOL!!

My boyfriend recently paid for a subscription and downloaded over 100 hours of content and burned them to DVD. So...nah.

I agree that most men go for the free stuff but then I suspect most women, most porn users in general, do.

Why would anyone buy porn? Women aren't that stupid with their money....I guess some guys would pay though.

Oh okay I thought women liked forbidden and taboo scenarios more than men, since women can watch or read a whole story dealing with a taboo situation that gets even more taboo as it goes on, where it was said that like just watching the physical sex, nothing more.

Well as said before, people with ethics. As said before, consider the player in the flicks and what they are giving up. Don't they deserve a semi honest market at least instead of their work being bootlegged?

Now that is said from a few years ago; I don't know where things stand with those that let you download today for free.
