I would tell myself to buy as much stock in Amazon, Apple, and a few others when they first are offered and hold them till I'm in my 60's.

Oh Yeah....when you meet that short, cute blonde woman named Christine...…..RUN!!!!

Nearly 40-year old Pic to 20-year old Pic: It's OK to live a little and make a few mistakes along the way. Having strived to live perfectly will not make you the most relatable person later-on.

I'm 33 now.

I graduated during the Great Recession in a part of Tennessee where there isn't much of an economy. I would have transferred to Duke or UNC-Chapel Hill most likely.

And I would have told my 20 year old self to buy Bitcoin in a few years

What exactly does that mean?
He means that he was serving his country in a war zone somewhere in a distant land and his first priority was getting through the horror in one piece and make it home safely. At age 20, I can say the same thing, but a different war and different theater. There wasn't much more on our minds other than doing what we were told to do, surviving, and get home as soon as possible.

Probably nothing. I don't think the right questions were being asked at that time, so I wouldn't listen to myself.

Years ago in the car while driving, I heard an interview with Nora Ephron about her book "I Feel Bad About My Neck" and she advised (jokingly) to spend your youth constantly in a bikini before your body succumbs to aging. I completely agree with her.
