I wear a lot of pink in the darker shades. It looks good on me. However, I can't imagine painting a room pink. The color I detest is orange, followed by yellow.

Nausea?

Sounds like Peptobismol marketing worked hehe.

Now I see pink everywhere! Since I do like pink (pale pink), I bought a bunch of pink things. Pink towel sets, pink bath rug, pink sweater, pink plush throw blanket and 2 pink plastic bins for storage. It just feels very fun and joyful to me.

Nausea, hmmm. Unpleasant association with PeptoBismol or Gas-X???

Not so fast. Occasionally I see a man wearing pink, and it looks good on him. As with any color and any gender, the key is to match the exact hue and tint to the wearer’s complexion, and beware what other clothing colors are worn with it.

A guy at work wore a light pink polo shirt to a casual Friday meeting. It perfectly complemented and complimented his hair and skin. I disliked the guy for various reasons, but he knew how to look good. Furthermore, in that room full of stodgy manager and engineer types, his shirt stood out like a comforting light in a sea of bland, mostly murky plaids and solids consisting of brown, gray, olive green, and muddy blue.

As for automobiles and houses, I’ve seen a very few ultralight pink houses that looked fine. But I have yet to see a pink automobile that was anything but flat-out ugly. Worse yet, the pink vehicles I’ve seen were painted that horrible flat PeptoBismol pink. One was a Humvee, and one was a big Dodge pickup truck. They must be attractive to someone, just not to me. Yet I once was given a “cold pink” (very intense hue) wool sweater. Loved it and got lots of compliments for it. So much depends on the exact kind of pink and the application.
