If you almost died from an antibiotic, would you give it to your child? According to the Cleveland Clinic, there are 140,000 emergency room visits each year for reactions to antibiotics. And some of those reactions are fatal. In fact, most fatal allergic reactions are from medications - not food allergies, not bee stings - but medications. That's much higher risk than the reactions for vaccines. The truth is that all medications carry risk, but the benefits outweigh those risks.
