I seldom post so you won't notice but I've read many of your posts on one certain forum. I'm not following you but am following the thread...you just happen to be in it.
I am not concerned about kindness, it is just creepy. More to the point I am just wondering what would be the drive behind this kind of action. ODD? Depression?

Maybe they are out of words? Or want to acknowledge a post, but don't want to "say" anything negative or ridicule the poster?
I don't think we have hate emojis. But some people feel offended by just about anything.
If you have them on ignore, how do you know they "follow {you} from thread to thread"? If you can't see their posts that are annoying you, why worry about it? Is this thread to call them out, or...?
