I don't see or agree with "religion is becoming obsolete and outdated". Religion has always been around, and will continue to always be around. Just because there are advances in technology, for example, doesn't mean that changes anything. They operate on their own / other level.

As far as humans being inherently religious, it's hard to say. We do see a lot of religion in politics and arguments over money and different cultures/races, so maybe so. People these days worship lots of things that have nothing to do with God, etc.

I'm for spiritual values and thoughts, which don't depend on anyone else or any church.

That we see a lot of religion in politics (or anywhere) doesn’t mean it’s inherent to a human being’s thoughts/behavior sans reason/reflection.
