In light of the GWAR documentary I watched last night, and the fact that I often mention that Beavis & Butthead live somewhere in the back of my brain and give me that knee-jerk "heh heh hehehe heh" reaction to all sorts of things in life...
... yes?
But I don't know how conspiracy belief, disbelief in science and social misconduct have a lot to do with Mike Judge's iconic 90s delinquents. Other than just generally not being smart. Hasn't some portion of society always been kinda not so smart?

Not Beavis and Butt-head related, but...
According to the Idiocracy road map that Judge (same B&B writer) laid out, that "not so smart" segment of the population continues to grow exponentially while those of a higher intelligence limit their breeding to 1-2 children or abstain altogether to focus on work, travel, school, etc.

I know, I've seen Idiocracy. It always seemed a little bit uncomfortably spot on in some respects. I had friends who referred to 45 as "Comacho."
Have we become a society of Beavis and Butt-Heads?
With the rise in conspiracy belief, disbelief in science, and social misconduct, have we become a Bevis and Butt-Head style society?
The society of today under 30yrs old doesn't even live up to that standard. They're to coddled, and scared of their own shadows. Everything needs to be broken down for them, it's so pathetic.
If Beavis and Butt-Head were real, they'd wipe the floor with all them.
Idiocracy is more apt. Same writer though: Mike Judge.
Was going to say the same thing ('Silicon Valley' is by far the best thing he's done, btw)
