I've heard this expression many times. You know what? So much truth to it. Somehow, we tend to annoy other people enough that you need to say "sorry not sorry". Something you do is perceived as such a weakness to someone else that you get berated, or get a lesson in what is better for me, etc etc.
So what have you been "sorry not sorry" for?
Me?
For some reason my fitness journey annoys people. I get talked sh*t a lot from family members (and get accolades too). Things like I'm old, I do too much, could get injured, blah blah. I don't get enough credit for putting in the effort and research that I do. I do injury risk assessment, and I push the envelope. I am athletic for my age, and not coming from an athletic background. So talk sh*t to me about it?
Son: Isn't that an awful lot of ice cream in your bowl, Mom?
Me: (The lie) At my age you can eat all the ice cream you want.
Sorry; not sorry!
