Of course some may just say they and dislike them on a very superficial level, but I also think they have forgotten the child within them, and maybe need to re-connect with that.

I cant stand children. To me, they arent cute or precious at all, and I dont want them around me for more than is absolutely necessary.

Animals on the other hand will get my attention vs. a newborn baby.

A lot of kids are just weird. I can see what some of the posters are getting at.

Meh......I just think that some people want to be left alone. This does not mean that they are nasty, selfish people.

People can dislike ALL smokers, and find them annoying, and that's fine? I've quit--I've been smoke free for six months--but parents don't seem to "quit" being parents. Even once those kids are supposedly grown.

Uhh, no. I wouldn't say I strongly dislike kids, I just dislike being around them too much, that's all. I would never want them myself. I don't think babies are cute I think they are incredibly ugly actually. I think kittens are adorable, puppies are cute, and I love cats in general, the friendly ones (a lot of people have had bad experiences with cats, I really don't get it, I am not a dog fan, if you get a good cat and raise it well it's the most affectionate animal without slobbering all over you and stinking constantly, lol). But babies? Get real. They are nasty and smelly and crap all over.

Kids are just undeveloped people, what is there to like about them really? I mean it's like saying a half-way baked cake is really great. No, not really, it's great when it comes out of the oven and is ready to eat. Kids are not yet developed intellectually or physically and don't have much to offer until they are. It's great to see kids with potential and intelligence but you don't yet know whether that will really develop into anything.

As long as the kids are someone else's, though, and not crying and making a fuss, I'm ok with them.

You know what W.C. Fields said, "Anyone who hates kids can't be all bad!"

Thank you for demonstrating that even some adults never develop, intellectually.

Also every adult was a kid once. So I don't understand the arrogance.
How many kids do you have?
