Carl Jung talks about the Shadow, a lot in dreams. I'm not sure I always believe that. Or maybe I don't believe that the Shadow is always bad. But I do agree with him that dreams give you a fresh look at yourself.
I can relate both with the good and bad ones. Sometimes I even have a dream how I plan to fix something the next day. Low and behold I try it and it works. I don't know if that is luck or what but it sure is cool when that happens.

Haha did you enjoy the Psychology classes that you took in college? I'm thinking of taking one next semester Random question: What did you major in?[/quote]

Lost of a loved one is hard either way, and I majored in Fine Arts. But it was one of the mandatory classes you had to take.

Say what now?
Memory Basics
There are a lot of good websites for mnemonic devices such as this one. The thing about memory is that it is the cognitive process most easily influenced by interventions. There is some overlap among the different memories: long-term (associative memory) and short-term and working memory. You can improve your memory to a great extent and this will help in all kinds of learning.
