Yeah, it's a 196 Bay and Reef model...19'6" in length.
I compression tested the motor and all showed consistent 120psi.

The check from my buyer cleared yesterday

We're headed to the Keys on vacation today and will come back to pick up the new one next Tuesday.

Messing About, enjoy that wonderful weather down in the keys, are you going to go fishing down there? Let me know when you get your new boat.

I have gone out without success the last couple days. It has been pretty cold here especially at night, and the fish have been inactive as a result. It is going to warm up beginning today, and every day for the next 10 days appears to be warming to about 80+ degrees everyday. So, expect better reports to begin coming forward in the coming days and weeks. I am not going out today, but plan on going out a couple times this next week. Soooo. . . Harbor Hopper if your game, clear your schedule cuz, I'm gonna call.

That won't happen till the water warms up. It is not like fishing in the north, where many of the species will still be hungry and agresssive even when they are under the ice. Down here, the fishing is very seasonal. You take what they give you as they migrate in for the summer and out for the winter.

Ever heard of Snow-fish? No? That's cuz I made it up!

Right now, mostly Sea Trout. But, snapper aways bite, and so do sheephead right now. Some Redfish still linger, and some snook, but the snook slow down when it gets cold. Many died last year when the water got cold during one of the cold snaps. Trust me these fish are sensitive to colder waters (60s and below) here. They like it warm. Most of the grouper have moved off-shore, but there are still some in some of the holes. Lady fish still bite, so I am collecting them as frozen bait right now to use later on. This week I will definitely be going out again sometime.

I'm sure you were always too tired to hang out at Duval Street! But, I'll check out your message and see how you made out.

OK!, Nice story! When you go out on Friday, call me. I will DM you with my phone number and maybe I can hook up with you out on the water some place.
