And I thought I've had a lot going on! Best wishes for a speedy recovery to your FIL. My thoughts and prayers are with you , your family and your husband. I have been there several times before and being the family member at the hospital day in and day out is not easy.

Way to go Willow for insisting about the helmet. Willow, please disregard any of the naysayers from the other thread. You are an outstanding young person who uses her head in all matters. In my opinion the world could do with more people like you!

Shannon, so sorry to hear of your FIL horrific accident, I do hope he heals well in the shortest time possible. You and your family had been in my thoughts but even more so now as I will be thinking and hoping for good news to follow your father-in-law's recovery process.

That Willow really is someone special; very caring and great thinking skills abound.

My best wishes to you and your family

Hope her dad-in-law recovers completely...how rough it must be to go through that.

Has anyone heard what LE is doing with the one who ran him over? Wondered what he
is charged with?

EDIT: I got off my lazy rear and did some research. Looks like he's in prison with a million dollar bail...

Shannon, I saw in the paper that he was released from hospital. Good news and here's hoping he makes a full recovery.
