Recently while driving around BSL we noticed what looks like a canoe/kayak launch off of Acapulco. Does anyone have any info? I think it goes into Bear Branch Creek. Hubby and I live in Burnt Store Village so would we be able to use it or possibly pay to use it? Are there any other areas to access Bear Branch Creek that are public?

The Launch off of Acapulco is a great place to paddle, unfortunately, it's regulated by the BS Lakes Homeowner Association. You need a sticker from them in order to use it. Property owners at the Lakes and their visitors only. Start making friends at the lakes! I have spent a lot of time paddling there, its GREAT. We offer tours and rentals out of that launch for residents only. You can call me at the store 239-214-8300 if you have any more questions.
