The low pressure system in the Caribbean has lost organization and is not longer being tracked.
In unrelated weather, I just heard the Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda area is in for up to 4" of rain tomorrow between sunrise and sunset.

The really heavy accumulations steered further south and will still get upwards of 4 inches plus in Collier County. Charlotte County is forecast for more than a half inch. I'll take the trade since we're helping our widowed friend move today.

I put my panel hurricane shutters up. I have accordians in most picture windows and the lanai but some smaller windows have panels, took two of us an hour to do them, don't want to get caught short. The accordians are a snap to close. I do want to enjoy the sun, now I can relax knowing I'm ready.

LOL!!! I think they rescinded the end of the world according to the Myan calendar now. Supposedly they found another one that goes on forever............

Although it may end at the Ranch........who knows?
