Hey all,

The closing went thru and we're in PC, cleaning and getting ready to paint. The fridge is stocked with the essentials, namely a case of Yuengling Black and Tan (is that B.H. knocking at the door? ). One thing that needs to be done is having the pool resurfaced. Does anyone know of a any good, trustworthy companies to get estimates from? I tried to do a search to see if this subject has been posted before and didn't have luck; only with pool construction companies.

Thanks.

Superior Pools that is doing our pool also does resurfacing. We aren't that far along in our construction yet but if that part of it is half as good as what we have so far then I'd have to recommend them. I really like these guys.

Fulton Pools in Port Charlotte. They resurfaced our pool deck and they completely tore out the old pebble stone and replaced a pool deck for a customer of mine. They do pool service, repair and install pools. http://fultonpools.com/

It is the pool construction companies that do the resurfacing. They have to grind off all the existing finish (VERY dirty/dusty job). This will take 1-3 days depending on the pool size. Then they re-surface (1-2 days). It is NOT a cheap job. Depending on pool size, you're looking at $4-10k

When I asked the guys here for a rough estimate on a 12X24 for my MIL they said it's hard to say without seeing it but probably between 2 and 3 grand.
