Geez guess I am not meant to get crabs for my birthday...at least from my canal. I got the new pot and it has been in there since Saturday with no luck. We put it with the bait door up and the bait door down. We had various leftovers in there. At least with the Walmart trap they ate the food no matter what we put in. This hasn't been touched. Last shot is to get some Bonita. I reallllllly want to get some crabs out my back door!!!!!

. Up here in the Chesapeake, this time last year I was catching several dozen a week off of my pier; this year I'm averaging 1 crab every 3 days, and that's fishing two pots!

Bait door DOWN. Last time I went to Fishn Franks they were out of Bonita. I used mullet (didn't have time to cast net) and worked fine. I'm on the Pellam waterway. Which waterway are you on (no address, just waterway name)?
