Does anyone know if there are any stores in the area that specialize in woodworking? I'm mainly interested in stuff like furniture grade lumber and specialty hinges along with carrying tools as well. Neither Home Depot or Lowes has the goods I'm looking for. The closest I've found is a Woodcraft store up in Clearwater.

I would suggest that you stop by Leonard Jed in Baltimore. I used to LOVE Gunthers Hardware. There are still a couple of great places in Baltimore - I just can't bring them to mind. I'm sure if you know what you want, you can find it on-line and have it shipped to you. I trained as a carpenter years ago, and used to know a lot of great places.
