Having bought a house in P.C. this past year and still living part-time in Maryland, I know I'll have plenty of questions come tax time. I'm not as concerned with income tax questions as I am about real estate taxes, both here and in Maryland. Does anyone recommend a tax adviser that they've worked with? Working with snowbirds would be a plus. Sorry, but I don't have a lot of faith in the pop-up-at-tax-time businesses; I'm looking more for someone who deals with tax issues year 'round.

I use a Tax Advisor. He used to live in Florida but moved to AL. I still use him though. He has been doing taxes for many many years. He works out of his home. We email everything back and forth. MacDonald's Tax Service, Scott MacDonald, 205-620-3970,
scottmacdonald@bellsouth.net . I am sure you can find someone local if you prefer. But I really like him. I used to do my own taxes until I became self-employed. He is really good.
