There was no wait at all. Bring a photo ID.
We researched all 12 ballot measures and brought a cheat sheet with us, which they allow you to use while voting. If you want to research the measures, and I recommend you do because the wording on the actual ballot may confuse, here is a link.

You have one. Every voter in Charlotte County has one. It's the sample ballot they sent out. Everyone has them by now. You are allowed to fill it out in advance and take it with you to vote (saves time)
