I've been looking for a job for sometime now and nothing. I was a food and beverage director / manager from New York. now in Punta Gorda, and want to know if there are any jobs available around here in that field or similar. punta gorda is a retirement haven. you should look in orlando being such a touristy area. you should be able to find something at one of the many resorts including disney.

I'm sure the OP moved to Punta Gorda something other than employment. Most unemployed people do not have the money to just get up and move to Orlando or anywhere else. Keeping a roof over there head is their priority, and the chance of missing a mortgage payment is a just a short step away from being homeless.

I know this has nothing to do with your field but if you need work bad I'm sure you could get something out at the Walmart distro on Rt.17 I have heard they are always looking for help, just a thought. Also the season is almost upon us so things should pickup in your line of work.
