I am fairly new to the area and have been looking for some decent BBQ. Any recommendations? I am in Deep Creek so PC or PG would be the areas I frequent.
Thanks in advance.

There's two in PC (Wally's and Sonny's). Been to both. 'Eh, they're ok. Last weekend we passed a roadside smoker on 41 in North Port and I wanted to stop SO bad, but we were already running late.

I didn't realize Whiskey Creek had BBQ too. I was there once and had steak. Thought it was very good.

Yeah, look at their menu online. They have a separate BBQ section. I have always had good food there.

I've seen Whiskey Creek but never stopped by. Roadside smoker mmmmm, when I was in Tennessee you couldn't sling a cat without hitting one.
I haven't ventured to Venice yet...may have to if Whiskey Creek doesn't sate my thirst.

Thanks for the recommendations

I used to live in Texas and good BBQ was everywhere... here the best place I've found is Rib City, especially for Ribs! They are a chain and have a location near in Venice and Ft Myers.
