This is how they are supposed to work here in FL as well. I HATE it when cars stop while IN the circle!!! That's the whole point of the round-about, to KEEP TRAFFIC MOVING!!! My wife HATES entering them with me driving, cause she knows the horn will be a blaring and there will be yelling, lol #peoplecan'tdrive

Just stands to reason; amazing number of drivers don't stop at stop signs, turn left out of the right hand lane, drive the wrong way on 41 to avoid going around the block (saw that one last week). Why would they observe any rules of the road in a roundabout? When drivers understand roundabouts and observe the rules (as in the UK), I think they're great - here, not so much.

I admit it I am NO Traffic Genus...( Though I have installed timed and calibrated Traffic lights) if "they" want to improve traffic flow? How about they syncronize all the lights on 41 from the PG Bridge to 776

I feel your pain, that small roundabout by Lock n key....I had one guy steam straight across in front of me....I was in Mels soft top so was able to effectively audible-ise my unhappiness

another time ,old lady in front missed the turn to go up over the bridge , so stopped and reversed rather than go the extra 50 yards round again

That roundabout on Manasota Key at Englewood is a real PITA. Backs up traffic across the bridge on weekends. Edgewater is busy every day. Gonna be a real pain.

Just another example of how our elected officials think they know better that the people they were elected to serve. Years down the road we'll probably be paying to change the circles over to standard intersections.

I live 1/2 mile from the drawbridge and have never once seen traffic backed up due to the roundabout. The traffic backup near the bridge is due to bridge openings, not the roundabout 1 mile ahead. I love that roundabout, just wish people knew how to properly use them!
