Sarasota paper yesterday said that this is a 'normal' amount of rain for the year. We have several years of below normal so it seems like a lot by comparison. I am with Army Chief, happy to put up with the wet so that our water table rises.

I'm ready for some sunshine and parts of my lawn need mowing...hasn't been dry enough to do it for the last couple weeks...a lot of friends are having problems flushing toilets and drains running slow due to their septic tank...drain fields are saturated...BUT i'll take the rain over cold temps and snow any day !! Friends up north "maine" are already running their furnaces and or wood stoves...YIKES

I have actually been enjoying the rain. The worst part about it is not getting a dose of cycling in but the indoor trainer sorts that out.

Be safe and enjoy the day
