I guess they don't dredge the canals too often. I was under the impression that the canals were only 5 or 6 feet deep. I'm surprised that some fisherman or boater didn't find one of these vehicles first the hard way, such as hitting it with their lower drive unit during a low tide. These cars must have been pretty deep. Once I get a boat, then I'll know for sure what the depth of the Ackerman is.
