Gas prices have increased a lot in the last 5 days. I used this site www.floridastategasprices.com to look around and we are about the highest in this part of Florida, at this time. Just throw your zip code into the site and it will give you prices. You do not have to register or login in just to check prices.

Even within this single county gas prices differ.

Does not seem to be any emergency driving the price up. Just taking advantage of the drivers around the holiday season this time.

One station out on Jones Loop Rd. went up .33 cents in four days.

Wow, almost as high as San Diego. I just got gas this morning for $3.43 a gallon. It has been going down here for the last month even with the holidays around the corner.

Yep, last week it was under $3.10. The second the damn media begins reporting about "cheap" gas prices, BAM!! Prices skyrocket $0.35 overnight! Fleecing.

Nope...I've been watching the prices shoot up in Maryland over the past week and a half too, and when it does go up it's been going up 6, 8, or 10 cents at a time. Two weeks ago it was down to about $3.07; now it up to $3.47 for regular although if you drive around you can find some in the mid $3.30's It's not happening just in SWFL.

4 months of 1 and 2 cents decreases and they get it all back in a week. Sad.

Today's cars get twice the fuel mileage as cars did 25 years ago because of this it's the equivalent of paying $1.61 a gallon that's not too bad....think about it you are going twice as far on that tank of gas
