The name of our builder is "Your Home" The warranty is 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty. The bill says "While your builder supplied structural warranty from Home Buyers Warranty Corporation VI sm) remains in place for a full 10 years, costly repairs to your home systems and appliances will soon no longer be covered" "The contract can be viewed at Home Warranties for Homeowners | 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty.
The renewal is one year $329; 2 years $529; 3 years $679;" then extras for swimming pool, washer/dryer, deluxe appliance coverage, supreme coverage."

Home Buyers Warranty Corporation VI

I looked at their website. The 2-10 warranty breaks down like this:
1 year- workmanship (everything, basically)
2 year- systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC)
10 year- structural only

It sounds like they just want you to extend the short-term workmanship coverage, which would essentially extend that portion of your warranty. You would want to read the fine print on your original documents to find out exactly what they will cover, and what they will not.
