I would agree, but it’s probably because of the permit. You most likely had to use road rated (strong enough for an 18 wheeler) culvert in the swale and contour some kind of entrance on each end.

6” seems excessive. Did they put rebar in or wire mesh?

The reason for 6" of concrete is because the RV weighs 35000 lb it's a large 40 foot Diesel Pusher

What's typical is guys posting that they paid to much. But give no help. Your in the trade so why don't you steer him to somebody that won't rip him off. Isn't that the whole purpose of this site?

Looking for some quotes on a 20x55 pad pour also. it will be an extension onto my Lanai area for out door seating and stuff. i got one quote already from a local guy at $5,150 and that is with permitting and 3 sides of it with footers incase i ever want to add on to the Lanai. Thoughts

thats a 4-5" thick drive. For an Rv you might want to thicken up.

Rebar is rarely used these days its all fibermesh ,which IMO is far better
I am looking at a large driveway too. Who do I call for that kind of price?
