Breakfast is my favorite meal when traveling. Love to start the day out well nourished so I can maximize my time "roaming" about. I tend to skip lunch and end with a nice seafood dinner. Kind of what I love about Florida traveling. Usually good choices for breakfast and delicious fresh seafood for dinner. (Same goes for Cape Cod in the summer months).

I plan to take this advice too on my next trip as well. Thanks for the great info.

Smokey's makes great biscuits and gravy. First grits I ever had that I actually liked. With a bad of syrup or plain with a little salt, yum.

I'll echo others' sentiments about John Ski's. That is hands down our favorite. Went there almost every day for breakfast during our last trip, and experience taught us to go easy on attempting to finish everything on the plate. Otherwise, we're full for the entire day/early evening and unable to enjoy lunch!

I recommend John Ski's. But if you just want a good bacon and egg breakfast, toast, coffee, and hash browns try the PGI grille, behind the 7/11 on Aqui Esta. Its good, and not overly priced - its a good deal.

Thanks Big-- PGI grille is now on our list! We'll definitely check it out.

Yep PGI Grille is two thumbs up. Any place where the food is good, the prices fair, and where the waitresses call you "Hon," is a winner.

Has anybody else experienced "the many faces of home fries" at John Ski's? I like the place, but I've had home fries cooked at least 4 completely different ways, which range from fantastic to just sort of OK.

Sometimes they are under cooked for my liking. I like them browned!
But all in all a very good choice for breakfast!
