Does anyone know what is in the canals within Rotonda other than alligators? I assume it is fresh water and I saw they put in Grass Carp. What other species are in there and is it any good fishing?
Have a friend coming down that likes to fish.

I could not find any info on Fishin Frank.

Thanx

I have caught catfish & what I believe was tilapia, each about 12 inch range, but I'm not a serious fisherman. Mostly taking my grandson out when he visits. There doesn't seem to be a large amount of fish present, at least whenever we are looking for them.

Default Fish in Rotonda

Talapia and more but only catch them would not suggest eating them.If your friend likes to fish got to a saltwater pier like the Placida Pier. We enjoy it.
