Agreed. Thanks for the frequent reports. Although I'm sure it's no joy to listen to for years on end, it is fascinating to watch the process. I miss driving from Murdock, down Lake View to Edgewater, as an avoidance of 41 to Punta Gorda.

Thanks again Mike, it's starting to take shape now. Anyone have an idea of the "estimated" completion date. And we all know they'll find a way to delay it. (hope not)

seems all the road workers are now east of the spring lake bridge.
looks like the south side is close to paving . last year when it started rainging everyone was gone now the past few weeks when it started raining they were sticking around for it to stop. the push must be on with 10 months to go

Tuesday they built a work platform on the west side pilling in the water and cut then to height. this morning the first pilling driven was too low so they drilled holes added rebar

this after noon they built a form on the pilling to make it taller and that will set on top of the pilling built a rebar structure for the header that will set on the pillings

deffinatly looks like its going to be taller then the 8' we had on the old bridge the plans say 10.4 feet a high tide
