Wow, that's impressive. Tough to find that kind of ethic down there. I'll have to remember him for my next dock project.

Ron Parr is one of the oldest marine contractors in the area, straight up guy, does great work. He actually did some of the original dredging & construction of the BSI canals in Punta Gorda. I'm trying to get ahold of him as I write as a friend needs a lift in Charlotte Park.

That is the only problem with Ron getting ahold of him. I tried multiple times before I hired someone else. But people that have used him are happy with his work!

I know Ron and he's a good guy.. ( Very Busy it seems and yes a difficult man to get a hold of or have return your call ) but IIRC Ron Is Younger Than me so who was doing all the seawalls and docks and boats lifts before Ron?? Did all the first guys just die or leave?

If you just wait, you'll be waiting a looong time. As noted here in the past, Ron is a good guy, but being on his infamous "list" means next to nothing. You have to be willing to call him every other day. Part of the problem is he's too nice a guy, and can't say no to anybody. To be fair, I've never had him do a really big job - I suppose those go right to the top, which is a little understandable when everybody's busy.
