The widening of Midway from Sharpe to Kings Hwy begins in July. Now, unlike Edgewater, they will keep Midway open, but be prepared for delays, especially around the schools.

Hummmm 20% for Engineering alone? Thats Above a beyond the Profit margin for the general and his subs? Humm is the General not providing the Civil Engineering Portion? WOW$$$$!!!! This is a fairly short span and yet 3 years to comppletion? ? I have worked on these types of projects twice. I Ran Small Crews ( 5-12 Men) of Electricians providing Highway Lighting and Traffic Signals... and this just seems all out of hand .. Kind of like the closing of Edgewater from Midway to Harbor because of the 3 bridges in time, being removed , but then not really working on 2 out of 3 of them..

And since the operation does not have over 50% state money, the county can direct the bids to their friendly (i.e., we kick back in political funds) local contractor. Not really open bidding thanks to current laws.

Could these laws have been written by the same people who bought 980 acres and Call it Murdock Land Development Fiasco? Voters of CC Really Need to DEMAND a Total Financial Investigation of that Fiasco and EVERYONE Even Remotely Associated with it. Enough of the Typical Good Old Boy Deals...

it was said closing all 3 ridges would be faster and it was voted to do so but not they only do one bridge at a time stating that they didn't mislead and all 3 bridges are being done at once , to me it should be 3 crews 3 bridges. and midway is more money less work and still 2 miles , its crazy and I come home at 3pm and everyone has left work at best I see a /2 dozen worker in the morning

Profit margins are un believeable down here.. For the most part from what I have watched its Un-skilled or limited skilled workers and far too few of them .. This is typical for down here as I read it and ask others.. Its a Travisty!!
