Tamre, we have 2 goldens, each close to 100 lbs ( I know, I know) and a shelti and yorkie mix who is a little PIA and thinks she rules us all. I know there is a doggie beach in Venice, but not sure about the Englewood area. I will tell my wife about the golden rescue, that's right up her alley.....or maybe I won't on second thought.......

From the ass. page:

As long as you follow the RWA fencing requirements, you can have a fence on your property. A six (6) foot fence is only allowed on the sides of the home within the foot print of the house. The foot print is the area the the actual building sits on and includes the lanai. No fencing is allowed in the front of the house and at the rear of the home, only 4 foot fencing is allowed which includes the sides of the lot and the rear of the lot. Four foot fencing begins at the rear of the footprint of the home.
Printed examples of the fencing requirements are available at the RWA office.

You can check the RW restrictions at: Rotonda West Association, Inc.: Home Page
