Yep. The Sun now has a mobile version of the paper, works on IPad, etc. The arrests generally are minor drug possession, domestic violence, etc. No major crime.

I was selling a flat-bed trailer a while back. Had it in the front yard, simple lock. Buyer came up from Lehigh Acres, amazed that I could leave a trailer or boat out and not have it stolen overnight. Neighbors have similar trailers, boats, stuff out, no one bothers it as we all look out after each other.

I checked the website but I changed the dates to Jan. 2015 thru June this gave me a better picture.

This is one of the safest areas I have lived in.

This link is for the City of Punta Gorda and shows the arrests that are made. I would think this is more accurate. As you will see, most are non violent crimes.

Punta Gorda Police Department P2C - provided by OSSI (Recent arrests)

Hey change the law and make MJ legal, a LOT of the arrests will go away. Will probably be back on the 2016 ballot, almost passed last time.

Three weeks ago, my brother came to visit for a week.
He borrowed my shampoo. OH SURE you did!! You stole it and you know it!!
I don't care that its in the other bathroom - its not where I left it!!
I'm calling the cops!! This is more representative of a major crime event here in Punta Gorda!

The story you read above is just a fictitious story - the relationship was changed to protect the innocent.
No one needs to rush to my rescue (or my little brothers) LOL.

Now it if was a true Yeungling pilferage story....
Don't worry - he knows better....

Yea, but I don not think this 'synthetic cannabis' is "good for you"...
