There are many places you can call. I've had good luck with Sears.

Honestly, mifmitis over 5 years old, out of warranty, buy a used one from Craigslist or go down to Lowes/Home Depot/Bill Smith Appliances no buy a replacement. Cost of repairs are ungodly. Start with a $150 house call, then parts,

Unit was new in 2009.Had a side by side in Cleveland that stayed in the house when we moved.I believe it was in the neighborhood of 20 years old and never had any service performed on it.
I believe this one needs at least a fan and maybe the heat element.Bottom freezer and ice maker work fine.

Maybe there's just something caught in the fan? If your mechanically inclined sometimes a little snooping around can be a place to start. I've had luck with troubleshooting stuff on my own and buying replacement parts on line. Mark

One year I put my boat in at the beginning of the season and the AC/Heat wasn't working.

It made a loud humming noise and popped the breaker (seized compressor).
I reset the breaker, turned it back on and whacked with a hammer.

It worked for 4 more years. Until the boat sank.....but that's another story

Gary
