I would like to put up a temporary shelter aka tarp with a support frame while I work on my boat, would anyone know if I can do this without a permit. Don't want to get involved with engineering plans or hurricane codes. It's just temporary. Thanks for any input
Tom

How tall tom ? You can get thoose folding tent. Shelters if its a small boat. But if its a taller shelter needed like thoose coverit carports. They are suposed to be permeting i belive and anchored plroperly.

Well its been said before.. The County isn't Out and About Looking to ding anyone.. so IMHO if you have good relationships with your neighbors .. Get it up... get the work done proto and get it down.. Otherwise .... IIRC those units are no-longer allowed in CC...

As long as you're not in a deed restricted neighborhood (which you're not) and the neighbors don't complain, you should be fine. If it lasts longer than a couple of weeks, I would almost guarantee someone would complain, especially if the tarp is blue which stands out more than gray.

Well The tarp is white and I figured I'd replace the guide on poles on the trailer with full length 10' pvc pipes and strap other pipes to the trailer instead of studs off the pad then I would truly have a temporary structure. So far so good
