R.O. system under the kitchen sink for both the sink and 'fridge. But even without it I don't think the water is too bad.

I wonder where all those plastic bottles go that are the waste generated by the environmentally concerned folks who drink bottle water exclusively while standing in the cereal isle deciding which junk box is the healthiest?

Sort of funny

Jim and I have no problems drinking the tap water, and we actually think it tastes the same as bottled water.

Up in MD, Deer Park and Poland Springs are some pretty darn good tasting natural spring waters. I haven't seen them for sale here. Down here it seems that Zephyrhills is one of the popular brands. Personally, I think the tap water taste better.

I use to drink the tap water when we lived in port charlotte but since moving to harbour heights i've been buying gallon jugs of spring water...i can't stand the after taste of the tap water here...H.H. has their own water company that uses R.O. I've tried using a brita filter hoping to kill the smell and after taste but it didn't help

You can get a kitchen RO unit installed for $300 or less or do it yourself .. very easy.

It will make water that is better than bottled for pennies a gallon. I'm in Rotonda Heights and the tap water here is very good, no stains, good taste and no skim in the pot when boiled.

Really? It smells to me. I'd have to hold my nose and think of running mountain streams to come close to drinking it. Then again, some folks like the pizza here, too!

I don't see that helping my situation since my water company uses RO

Zephyrhills, FL where they bottle this is located about 120 miles due North of us.

This is an interesting 6.5 minute vid from "You tube" story on it.
