I'm equally interested...I'm a golfoholic. GolfNow doesn't always provide updated course information or recent reviews - especially private or semi-private. Anyone have experience with overall membership; membership fees, quality of the clubhouse, course maintenance, and tee time availability?

Coral Creek in Placida is meant to be a championship type course...but I think its members only or $$$$$$$$$$$. George w plays there as does Augie Busch who also owns the airport. we see the flash jets coming in every Friday and back out Sundays

Does seminole or burntstore marina have public driving range and practice (putting) areas that you can pay for a bucket of balls and not be golfing to use? We just moved to venice in July and are trying to get some practice in and still enjoy the golf course environment. We are retired and willing to explore outside of venice.

I'm not sure about Seminole but BS has a driving range. I know there are also plenty around Venice where our cousin lives.

I played Heron Creek many times. If you are above a 3 handicap bring a lot of balls with you. Very tricky course IMO
