It happens......Every few years we have a cool maybe for some a cold, winter .. I am thankful I live here and am not here on Vacation.. Wouldn't that Suck? Work all year save your money for a couple weeks of Fun in the Sun and get here and its 60's-70 and it rains every couple days.. If the rain stops that we are getting right now, and it actually warms up, to the predicted 77 ? IMHO all will be good with the world for a few days.. Friends of ours went North for a week of Skiing hahahaha !

And the wind holds off. I've been waiting for a few months now to get out fishing. I've never minded a light, warm rain, but a cold rain isn't fun to be out in. Add in some wind and I'll just stay home.

This is Dry Season. It certainly has been raining more than usual. If the sun doesn't come out, that also will keep temps down.

Yes this is usually our dry season.. Christmas is usually the Ski Season up North , but this year there was NO SNOW as far north as Tow Harbors MN. Personally I am happy for the rain , though the cool weather I can do without.. Next week we may see temps just above Freezing at night for a couple days? But that's better than seeing freezing temps at night until Mid- APRIL
By Tuesday it will be 70 on Cozumel so I cannot really complain too much I guess..

The weather this year has been really odd.

I was up north over the christmas holidays and on xmas eve it was 70 degrees and the cherry blossoms were starting to bloom.

Also, there is currently a hurricane out by the Azores in the atlantic...... in January??? what the ?!
And particularly rainy in FL for our "dry season"

Something is not right.

It's happened before. Tends to occur when cold fronts collide with warmer weather. We have had rain in the dry season before.

Wierd about a hurricane in January, but IMO in their zeal to make it a BIG DEAL, they chose to name it and call it a hurricane, even though it is NOT a tropical system. Change the direction of its winds a little bit, they could have called it a nor'easter and these occur in the winter

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nor%27easter.

Nothing to declare the end times over.

We were still home (NY) for Christmas Eve and it was 70. I was cooking in a tee shirt with all the windows opened.

We came down 3 days after Christmas and it was warm 80 and sunny! Then it turned cold and rainy! Today it is off the charts with this rain. Is this normal rain for PGI? This is out of control. I can't see my neighbors across the canal because it's raining so hard. Lol. I am starting to think I might like to be playing in the snow.
