We will be vacationing in Naples the last week of May with my two college age daughters. Was thinking of coming up to PG for the day to check in out as it is on our short list for retirement in a couple years from now.

Was planning to visit Fishermans Village and let the girls due some shopping and have some lunch nearby.

Any suggestions to occupy a few hours that would interest two college age girls?

Thanks.

Besides two college age boys I can't think of anything. Maybe a boat tour of the harbor? Bird sanctuary at Ponce Park is pretty cool buy I guess it all depends.

That Muscle Car link has ad-ware on it. I clicked on it and it gave some weird message about calling the number on the screen to remove a virus.....couldn't click it off. I ended up doing a hard restart on this computer. Not good.

I have a college-aged family member here right now. She liked Ponce de Leon park, not at all far from Fishermans Village. There's a small beach (but the water is brackish and rocky... Not suitable for swimming or wading), a small nature trail on a boardwalk, and a bird sanctuary. Cute place for getting some sun and maybe seeing some wildlife. You might see dolphins, too.

Os it very expensive to live there, as it is in Naples?

Good question! I'm college aged and currently live in Punta Gorda. If you don't "live" here there really isn't anything to do. Fishermans Village is nice for lunch. There are some tourist style stores in there that may be an interest to you such as tshirt stores, Naples soap company, etc. There are nice riverfront parks in Punta Gorda if you want to take a walk. Historic district is pretty. That's about it.

I don't see anything like that when I click on the Muscle Car City link.
